Regulations like the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the US’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) have driven organizations to adopt stricter security measures, making Zero Trust not only a best practice but also a compliance necessity.
As cyber threats continue to evolve, the Zero Trust security model has proven to be one of the most resilient approaches to protecting data, networks, and applications. In 2023, the integration of AI and machine learning, enhanced IAM, micro-segmentation, and SASE are advancing Zero Trust capabilities, providing organizations with more comprehensive and effective ways to secure their environments. As Zero Trust adoption continues, it will likely become the standard for organizations aiming to stay ahead in the increasingly complex landscape of cybersecurity.
